Leadership Development Coach, Wellness Coach, Life Coach
Empowering leaders and retirees to rock their 50s and beyond!
Jeanie McKay has over three decades of executive leadership development, consulting, speaking and real-life, "in the trenches" business experience as a health care system director and certified coach. She's known by many as a "people whisperer" for her insightful style that brings out the best in people. As a clinician, Jeanie developed a passion for coaching middle-aged adults and seniors faced with transitions and health challenges. Jeanie is Chief Learning Officer for MindZone LLC...where the science of the brain meets the art of being human. She is author of "Octane for the Brain" and delivers health and well-being seminars and interactive workshops throughout the U.S. for people who need to recharge. She is also a frequently requested speaker at Washington State South Sound at ICF training events.
How I can help
"Life is to be enjoyed...not endured!" When you are running on low-grade fuel and hitting bumps in the road, it's easy to slip into the mode of "hoping" things will get better. As a leadership, resilience, and wellness coach, I help clients step back and reframe their perspectives in ways that help them focus on regaining joy, meaning, blessings, and HIGH OCTANE energy. My coaching style helps to boost client vitality and results in a "positive encore approach" to life's often crazy-chaotic middle-age transitions.
Who I work with
Overworked, seasoned leaders and disengaged retirees
I turned to Jeanie for coaching when my hospital workload became overwhelming and my health and confidence started to suffer. With Jeanie's unconditional support, I recognized where I could make choices in the way I managed my energy and work demands. She helped me realize my goals, power, and ability to react in a positive way. With her encouraging coaching, I have made many transformative changes at work and home. I can't say enough good things about the difference coaching has made in my job and life satisfaction.
- Joanna L., Healthcare Manager
It's easy for many of us who are retired to fall into idle habits like watching too much TV, napping, and letting precious days slide by. After all, we are retired! After attending one of Jeanie McKay's "Octane for the Brain" workshops, I hired her as my coach. Wow! She helped shine the light on many things I had not considered. During coaching, I set challenging goals for my post-retirement life. I am feeling energetic and younger than I did ten years ago.
